Do I need a prescription?
No. The SOMAerect STF Plus is an over-the-counter product. No prescription is required to buy it.
That said, erectile dysfunction can be a sign of an underlying condition. Talk with your physician about whether vacuum therapy is appropriate for you.
What is the difference between the STF and the STF Plus?
The kits are identical except for the pressure device. The SOMAerect STF ships with the manual device. The STF Plus ships with both the manual and the battery-operated device.
If hand strength, dexterity or arthritis is a factor, the battery-operated device is the reason to choose the Plus.
What size is the cylinder, and what if it does not fit?
The standard cylinder is 2.25 in × 8 in, and this kit adds two smaller inserts for a closer fit. We carry three cylinder sizes in total, up to 2.5 in × 10.37 in.
If you need a different cylinder, call us on 1-800-827-8382 and we will make the adjustment.
What is the warranty, and how do I activate it?
One year, activated by registering your system on our website within 30 days of purchase. A lifetime warranty on the pump head and cylinder is available for an additional $99.00, selectable at checkout.
For a warranty return, contact us first so we can coordinate it. Shipping and handling on the return is the customer’s.
